Ryan Walton

Ryan Walton is a jazz drummer, composer, and educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds degrees in music from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing graduate studies at Georgia State University, where he serves as the Johnny Mercer Foundation Graduate Assistant with the Johnny Mercer Quartet. Ryan’s work blends tradition with innovation, drawing inspiration from the cultural and natural landscapes of the South. Whether on stage or in the classroom, he is committed to using jazz as a tool for connection, creativity, and community.
